We have entered the fast growing Surrey Slam T20 competition this year. The Surrey Slam was started in 2018 and is designed to provide a fast paced, convenient, short form game to encourage increased participation in cricket across the county. The 2019 competition has grown to 72 teams, initially divided into groups of 4, with play offs and finals days following, providing a minimum of 5 and maximum of 7 games per team. Our team will be called the Leatherhead Swans and we are in a group with Effingham, Cobham and Ripley. Matches will be played on weekday evenings from 6pm staring in early May.

The Leatherhead Swans will be sponsored by Bytes Software, one of the largest software services and solutions businesses in the country with their UK head office in Leatherhead. The Bytes logo will appear on our striking maroon and blue kit and, as part of the sponsorship arrangement, Bytes have also taken 10 corporate memberships of the club, enabling a group of their employees to play for the Swans and for our other teams. We’re delighted that Fin Rose will captain the team this season, In addition to being captain of the Under 19 T20 team.
