We are growing club at the heart the Leatherhead community. We have invested significantly over the last few years to improve our clubhouse and grounds, with a new 4 bay net facility completed in February. We have ambitious plans to provide more opportunities to play cricket for our members and to grow participation in the sport, particularly amongst the younger generation. COVID-19 had delayed the cricket season this year and, although we have been able to start net practice and some 1-1 coaching group recently, we are facing a much reduced season. We have decided not to levy annual subscriptions on our members at this difficult time and, instead, we are asking for donations to support the club. The loss of subscriptions, match fees and bar income, means our income will be down around £40,000 this year. While we are able to save costs to offset this we will still lose around £10,000 and so we are hoping that donations can help to bridge this gap.
