We had some great news late last week when we heard that our planning application to develop the Fetcham Grove ground has been approved by Mole Valley District Council. This project is a vital part of the club’s development plan and will see a step change in the quality of the facilities we can offer to existing and potential members and to the local community.

The development will see us take a lease on the currently unused land to the north of the main ground to create a dedicated training ground, on which we will construct a state of the art 4 bay net practise facility. We will also extend our car park and add a storage unit. The plan is to finalise the details and complete funding over the summer with a view to building in autumn/winter so we are ready for the 2020 season.

As part of the overall development we will also install a new ground entrance sign (at long last!) and have ground advertising boards installed on the main ground for use by our sponsors and other interested parties. This work is being done now so we’re ready for the start of this season.

All in all, fantastic news for the club and a real lift just before the season begins.
