After a 2 season break, we are delighted to confirm that we will have a 3rd team playing league cricket next season. The team will play in Divison 4 of the Surrey Downs League (SDL) after our application was accepted at the league’s recent AGM. The SDL comprises a mixture of village sides and 3rd/4th teams of some Surrey Championship clubs and plays 40/40 limited over cricket. This is great new as it will ensure we can provide Saturday cricket for more members every week and, most importantly, it will provide the opportunity for more colts to transition to adult cricket. We are also delighted that we will play all our home games at the lovely Ockham Cricket Club. They are also members of the SDL and so we were able to reach an agreement with them to rent their ground, with the league agreeing to alternate their and our home games for the 2019 season.
