Membership Policy


  • Leatherhead Cricket Club (referred to hereafter as LCC) welcomes applications for membership from all, regardless of ability, disability, race, gender, religion, or age.
  • All LCC members and guests must adhere to the clubs Code of Conduct.
  • Membership of LCC is on an annual basis. Existing members must renew by the advertised date in order to guarantee their place.
  • Members/Parents/Guardians/Supporters are responsible for ensuring their personal details (including date of birth), emergency contact details, allergy information and photo permission is kept up to date.
  • LCC adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for Safeguarding children in Cricket. All members at the club who volunteer to help with our Junior section must undertake a DBS check by notifying our Welfare Officer in advance.
  • Prospective members are entitled, where requested, to one free trial before committing to membership.
  • Capacity for each age group within our junior section may vary and is dictated by several factors not limited to:
  • Ratio of Coaching Staff to Members
  • Availability of Managers
  • Availability of Helpers (Scorers, Umpires etc)
  • Where capacity has already been reached, LCC will add prospective members to a wait list in the respective category/age group.
  • If a wait list for a category/age group exists, priority will be given to former LCC members who request to re-join the club.
  • Match selection is at the discretion of the respective team manager, a key consideration will always be the safety of the individual playing.
  • LCC membership will be terminated at the discretion of the Committee where it is deemed a member has not adhered to the Code of Conduct and / or behaves in a fashion that jeopardises either the reputation of the club or a member of the club.
  • Where possible the membership team should be notified by the respective member if the intention is to leave the club or not renew
