Leatherhead Cricket Club (referred to hereafter
as LCC) welcomes applications for membership from all, regardless of ability,
disability, race, gender, religion, or age.
All LCC members and guests must adhere to the
clubs Code of Conduct.
Membership of LCC is on an annual basis.
Existing members must renew by the advertised date in order to guarantee their
place.
Members/Parents/Guardians/Supporters are
responsible for ensuring their personal details (including date of birth),
emergency contact details, allergy information and photo permission is kept up
to date.
LCC adhere to the ‘Safe Hands’ Policy for
Safeguarding children in Cricket. All members at the club who volunteer to help
with our Junior section must undertake a DBS check by notifying our Welfare
Officer in advance.
Prospective members are entitled, where
requested, to one free trial before committing to membership.
Capacity for each age group within our junior
section may vary and is dictated by several factors not limited to:
Ratio of Coaching Staff to Members
Availability of Managers
Availability of Helpers (Scorers, Umpires etc)
Where capacity has already been reached, LCC
will add prospective members to a wait list in the respective category/age group.
If a wait list for a category/age group exists,
priority will be given to former LCC members who request to re-join the club.
Match selection is at the discretion of the
respective team manager, a key consideration will always be the safety of the
individual playing.
LCC membership will be terminated at the
discretion of the Committee where it is deemed a member has not adhered to the
Code of Conduct and / or behaves in a fashion that jeopardises either the reputation
of the club or a member of the club.
Where possible the membership team should be
notified by the respective member if the intention is to leave the club or not
renew
