Additional Cricket kit list 

General: 

• Suitable footwear (Non-Marking trainers for all indoor training) 
• Sunhat/cap 
• Water bottle 

 Protective equipment: 

• Cricket bag to hold all kit 
• Helmet 
• Abdominal protector and suitable under garment to hold the protection 
• Batting pads 
• Batting gloves 
• Thigh pad (optional but would be useful) 
• Bat 
• Cricket ball  
• Balls can be purchased from: Serious Sports

U9 to U13 use a 4.75 oz ball 

U14 and up use a 5.5 oz ball 

U10 to U15 girls use a 4.75 oz ball 

U15 girls and up use a 5 oz ball 

*(Please note that balls are referred to as Incredi Balls (formally softball) or Cricket Balls (formally hardball) 

Additional information: 

Players who do not have suitable batting equipment will not be able to bat against anyone playing with a Cricket Ball which is in line with ECB regulations. 

We do not have spare cricket equipment for players to use so please ensure they bring their own if they want “Cricket Ball” batting practice
