Lowrise was started by a group of friends who realised that while they loved a social drink and keeping in good shape, the two didn’t always complement each other.

After trips home to the southern hemisphere, we realised that low-calorie beer was super popular there, and was exactly what we needed to stay ok looking, without having to sacrifice the good times.

There was one catch though – it didn’t really exist here in the UK! The small number of products that were on the market sacrificed great flavour or alcohol content, ruining the point of beer. Disaster.

So we did what anyone in our situation would do – naiively decided to make it ourselves. And with a little bit of trial and error and some natural science magic, we created a seriously lower-calorie, low-carb and low-sugar beer that tastes great and still contains 4% alcohol.

Now we get to share it with you and we can all drink a little lighter – we hope you enjoy!
