We are delighted to invite members, supporters and the wider community to a truly special fixture as Leatherhead 1st XI host an MCC Select XI at Fetcham Grove on Bank Holiday Monday, 25 May, starting at 11:00am.
This prestigious match marks the final event of our 175th anniversary celebrations and promises a full day of high-quality cricket in a fantastic setting. Entry to the ground is free, and our recently refurbished bar will be open throughout the day, making it a perfect occasion for families, friends and visitors to enjoy.
The fixture has an added appeal, with current Leatherhead 1st XI player Simon Roberts and former 1st XI captain Adam Dyson both featuring for the MCC. This provides a great opportunity to see our current side tested against club legends playing in opposition.
Play is expected to continue through the afternoon and conclude in the early evening, so spectators are welcome to drop in at any time during the day.
We hope to see many of you at Fetcham Grove as we celebrate the closing chapter of our 175th anniversary year - and look ahead with pride and excitement to the next 175 years at Leatherhead Cricket Club.
