Leatherhead pair represent Surrey U16s in win against Kent

Congratulations to Seb Price and Leo Hunter following their selection for the Surrey U16 team in the ECB County Cup fixture against Kent, which was played at Canterbury on Sunday, June 21.

Seb captained the team to victory by 36 runs in the 50 over match with Surrey scoring 285 for 8 before bowling Kent out for 249. He scored an excellent 16 runs off 8 balls as Surrey accelerated towards the end of their innings and took 2 for 36 including the final wicket of the match.

Leo opened the bowling with 5 very quick, accurate overs and was unlucky not to take a wicket. He returned with a second spell, taking an important wicket and finishing with 1 for 31 off 7 overs as he and Seb helped secure the victory for Surrey.
